Compassion Care Services

At Living Within Your Soul, I am passionate about providing care to those who need it most. Recently, I decided to put some additional focus on areas of our community that deserve wellness and massage but may not be able to travel to my office to receive it. I am so grateful to be able to offer these services and look forward to helping our loved ones in the special needs, older adult, long-term care, and hospice populations live their best lives with compassionate care.

Please note. Some populations may require informed consent from the client's guardian or POA; all services require a medical and medication history to tailor sessions accordingly. Some medical conditions are contraindicative to massage but may still benefit from other types of compassion care.

Compassion Care Services begin at $60 for 30 minutes and $90 for 60 minutes.

The client is responsible for providing session space as I do not travel with a table. Most often, care will be provided in their bed, mobility device, or wherever is comfortable and dependent on the clients specific needs.

Compassion Care for Special Needs

Massage therapy can be particularly beneficial for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. It can help to improve muscle tone and flexibility, as well as reduce muscle spasms and cramping. Additionally, massage can help to improve circulation and promote relaxation, which can be especially helpful for individuals with anxiety or sensory processing issues. Overall, massage therapy can be a safe and effective way to the physical and emotional well-being of individuals in the special needs population.

By adding weekly or bi-weekly sessions into the clients regular routine, we are able to help them maintain a consistent pattern of care and live their best life.

Compassion Care for Older Adults

Massage therapy can provide numerous benefits for older adults. It can help to reduce stress and anxiety, improve circulation, alleviate pain and stiffness, and promote relaxation and better sleep. Additionally, massage can help to improve range of motion and flexibility, which can be especially beneficial for seniors who may be experiencing mobility issues. Compassion Care also offers the added benefit of interaction and touch therapy which is beneficial to our mental health. Overall, massage therapy can be a valuable tool for promoting physical and emotional well-being in older adults.

Compassion Care for Long Term Care

Massage therapy can provide numerous benefits to individuals in long term care facilities. It can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve circulation, alleviate pain and stiffness, and promote relaxation and better sleep. Regular massage sessions can also improve overall well-being and quality of life for these individuals.

Compassion Care for Hospice/Palliative Needs

When our loved one is moved to palliative or hospice care, making them comfortable is our only concern. There are several types of massage that can be beneficial to individuals preparing to transition. Gentle, soothing techniques such as Swedish massage, light touch/feather touch massage, and energy work can help reduce pain, anxiety, and depression. I will work with the patient's direct needs and situation to determine the best type of care.

I am currently working towards obtaining my End of Life Doula certification and look forward to adding that to my services in the future.

Caregiver Compassion Care

If you are a full-time caregiver, you know how much it takes to juggle all of the tasks and information regarding the care of another individual. it is important that you are taking care of your own well-being so that you can provide the best care to your loved one. We can add a short 15-30 minute session on while I am onsite or you can schedule your own session at my facility located just south of downtown Omaha.
